We took 13 athletes to Newport this year for the Seahorse Invite. We are missing Tarek in this picture, my camera wouldn't work after being at the beach- sorry Tarek.
The kids had a lot of success in the water and a great time out of the water too!! I would like to encourage everyone to put this meet on your calendar next year...
Here the kids are on Sunday morning, you can tell that they're tired, but they are still smiling (mostly :)).
You can't tell from the picture, but the wind was blowing pretty hard. The boys ended up wrapping their heads in their shirts... the rest of us go sand blasted.
Some of us thought it was cold...
Others of us loved the sun and the beach!
... and this is what happens when swimmers play hard on the beach and then have to swim the next morning!
What a great time! We were invited to the beach by The Forest Grove Swim Team and were able to play a game of soccer with them... which we won- way to go Tigersharks!
